NRZI (Non-Return-to-Zero Inverted)
Signal changes level for a 1 bit; stays the same for a 0 bit.
AMI (Alternate Mark Inversion)
0 bits are zero voltage; 1 bits alternate between positive and negative voltages.
Pseudoternary
1 bits are zero voltage; 0 bits alternate between positive and negative voltages.
Manchester Encoding
Mid-bit transition direction determines bit value: rising for 1, falling for 0.
Differential Manchester Encoding
Mid-bit transition always occurs; bit value determined by presence/absence of transition at bit boundary.
